Whoa! In all the fun we have had here I think we have lost sight of the question that was implied, at least
to me, in the original "cool" post.

Does technology reside in the imagination or does it exist in the real world? The author mentioned
the microwave as one example of an appliance or a technology that he/she did not believe that
many people used today.

I think we should ask ourselves at least two questions b4 we indulge in a technology that is new to us..

1) How will I use the new technology?
2) Will I use it astutely? Is it worth what it cost?

Answers will vary from one individual to another.

Cheers,

Mephisto
