I think having Jerusalem under international control is a great idea. It would decrease the area of conflict in Palestine. My persistent reminder that all of Palestine used to be Arabs' land is simply a way to get people away from thinking that Israel, as a state, as opposed to those living there, must be maintained at all cost and is a just effort. Effective international pressure to FORCE the Arabs and Zionists to live in peace sounds like a great idea. I just hope it is realistic. Somebody posted on this thread to the effect that the Israeli army would attack such a force. I hope that isn't true. I wouldn't rule out attacks from the Palestinian side either. The international force better be very strong.
