I hope we've gotten past the time where we have to make up the truth during war. Unlike the mainstream press, most of the American people don't think military action is a Rambo movie in which Rambo never makes a mistake, or gets surprised. Hopefully, with our technological superiority we won't be surprised very often. I do believe at some point we will need to put a large ground presence in place. Contrary to the popular press, the cold weather actually helps us. We are far better trained and prepared to fight in the cold then the Taliban. The U.S. military isn't the old Soviet Union's military either. We're far better trained, far more disciplined, and have far better technology then they did.
