That's depressing, but you're right.
The only way to change this is a taxpayer-led revolution.
Politicians, for the most part, represent the government, not the people.
We're basically 150 million adult voters out here on our own, with no voice on what our government does, being fed a constant diet of nonsense and kept in the dark on anything important, like the last 20 years' presidential papers.
We just pay 40% of the GNP in taxes for their games, and pay in blood for battles. More taxes = more games = less security.
Meanwhile, there's no such thing as "Homeland Security", the guy in charge, Cheney, is nowhere to be seen, and Cardboard Boy spends time talking to schoolchildren.
