Eric, fine, if you want to believe that. Personally, I don't normally sit down to watch a baseball game on TV, either. I'll go to a ball park, but that's because of the beer, the friends, and the atmosphere. Tonight, however, was different than your regular game. It was the last in the World Series, with one team who is a long standing champion, and the other who is 4 years after starting up, with their first year in the Series. The score was close the entire game, 0-0 for 7 innings, tensions are high, and because of the terrorist attacks in New York, with Mayor Giuliani sitting in the bleachers, you almost want Yankees to win. On the other hand, the D-Backs winning has its own merits. I'd use an old cliche, and say that you could cut the tension with a knife.
Yes sir... definitely not your average game. To say what you said really shows the rest of us that you take little enjoyment out of the most innately interesting things in life. Try to experience something different for a change. God forbid, you might like it! ;-)
