Eric, re: so I blame baseball and cricket for being B-O-R-I-N-G. The game of baseball is the most interesting part. In order to really appreciate baseball, you have to understand the incredible balance of a very complicated game; the jockeying for every minor advantage. It's a thinking persons sport. Football and basketball are much easier to watch, good brain dead entertainment, with some interesting tactics and individual athletic feats. Baseball is like a fine wine, football and basketball are like a cold beer. The cold beer will do a better job of quenching your thirst, probably taste much better on a hot day. Baseball is complex, you have to understand it, drink it slowly, and really pay attention to appreciate the subtleties. To each his own. A great World Series, it has to go down as one of the best ever. On the other side, did anyone see the Bears comeback win? That was another WOW. John
