TO ALL POSTERS: A CONTEST
Pending the approval of da cheif, the host of dis tred, beginning tomorrow morning we will expand on the original contest idea of Moorso... here are the rules:
Just say up or down for any of the three major averages, DOW, SP's, and NAZ... you can call one, two, or all three markets... for each market called you win one point for being right, you lose one point for being wrong... you can win or lose as many as three points a day if you pick all three markets and are wrong... for example, you can call the DOW and the SP to be up and the NAZ to be down, or how ever you see fit to call them... you will be playing against a flip of the coin each day, who knows, maybe a flip of the coin may turn out to be the best way to day trade...<g> put your egos aside, this is all for fun and laughs...
Each game will run for the week and there will be a prize for the weekly winner at the end of each week... a new game begins every week... a poster has offered to give a weekly prize, but asked to remain un-named.....
You don't have to play every day, you can pick your days, the more you play the more you chance to gain and/or lose...
Post all you calls directly to me, not to yourself or to any other poster... there is no need to justify your calls, this is not a contest for gurus, this is to be a fun game for friends...
Here's how to enter your call each day:
(your name, market, up or down)
SAMPLE:
GZ, DOW up, NAZ down, SP down (pick one, two, or all three, whatever you feel that day)
I'll keep score... if there are any disputes, I'll make the final determination regarding that dispute...
All calls for the following market day must be posted to me prior to the opening of the futures' evening session, that is to say, your post must be time stamped on your SI post on or before 4:45 pm each day for your call(s) to be entered for the following day...
Post to me some time today with your calls and I will then post a roster of players, I'll use Friday's entries for today so you won't lose today's call if you've already entered the original contest and are right...
