General Magic participates at IBM WebSphere Technical Exchange
SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 5, 2001--General Magic, Inc. (Nasdaq:GMGC - news), a pioneer in voice infrastructure software and services, today announced it will be participating at IBM's WebSphere Technical Exchange, a forum for IBM partners and customers to discuss and exchange technical information about how to use IBM WebSphere products.
Pat Haleftiras, chief technology officer of General Magic, will be presenting a session entitled ``Extending e-business with Voice: Tools for building, integrating, deploying, managing and personalizing voice-based applications in the enterprise'' on Monday November 5th from 4:15-5:45 p.m. In addition, Mr. Haleftiras has been invited to participate with IBM in two separate sessions, the first entitled ``Voice-enabling e-business -- Providing voice access to information using the IBM WebSphere Voice Server'' on Wednesday, November 7th from 2:30-4:00 p.m. and the second, a panel Q&A discussion entitled ``Voice Birds of Feather'' on the evening of November 8th.
