if we are engaged, we are The Hegemon. If we disengage, we are being a "unilateralist" Yep... which is why I'd rather be engaged and "calling the tune".. At least until the rest of the world bears some measure of political resemblance to the US with regard to their governmental systems. Like the Eskimos say: "Unless you're the lead dog, the scenery never changes"... Of course, given the horrendous cultural values many of these middle eastern nations exhibit (like female circumcision), democracy might be the scariest thing to instill in them... Hawk
