Ed,

I believe history will show the Intel/Rambus partnership will be one the biggest financial disasters in the semi industry for Intel.

Why would anyone pay 40% more for a slower CPU, and be forced to used Rambus ram which cost 2-300% more and is slower than the DDR ram used by AMD?

I'm very happy with my new AMD 1800, and the cost was incredibly cheap. Less than $1K to upgrade to a state of the art system with 2 Gig ram and a 100 Gig HD with a seek time less than a SCSI HD with15,000 RPM.

AMD has less than 30% of a huge market, has the best products at the lower prices, a new state of the art facility, no debt and over $3.00 per share in cash.

I bought a ton of shares after I built my new computer.

Jim
