Bill- IMO Using that 10 trillion dollar figure is not really right.

As a war economy takes effect, things change a lot. The guns and butter concept was proven not to be a viable one IMO.

We might even run out of oil before a 100 year war is finished with.

IMO what is necessary are the steps to take are the ones that minimizes our casualties and shortens the conflict to the lowest amount of time. I don't disagree with doing things the way they are doing them now, but I do disagree with doing them for an extended period of time if the results desired aren't achieved in a reasonable amount of time. To me, that's about 18 months. If at the end of that time period, we don't see the conclusion to this, IMO that's when we should start using some of those 25,000 missiles we have all bought and paid for.

I don't know why everyone keeps wanting to just deport people that are here illegally. That "punishment" hasn't done anything in the past to have an effect. They just keep coming back.

They should start putting them in special prisons that have the barest of comforts. I mean really make them uncomfortable for a year or two and then deport them. And tell them if they come back illegally, and they're caught, they're going to be executed.

I previously posted a link that shows this precedent has already been set, in the case of the nazi sabateurs caught during WW2.

Now that idea may be unsettling to some, but I don't know why. We're going to be killing them in their own country, so we might as well kill them here too, when we catch them.

It's only a matter of geography.
