Good and bad people are everywhere James. That is not debatable at all...but when the 'bad' people operate under the blessings of a multitude of states, and 'good' people are repressed and persecuted....one needs to consider what kind of people this world will be left with, in 50 years time.....one needs to consider that a threat to civilisation....

I must admit I often use the term Moslems and Arabs interchangeably, which is really a wrong thing to do. The religious tolerances of Oriental and Central Asian Moslems have evolved thru ages IMO, thru exposure and amalgamation and blending of cultures...they're infinitely less communal...and maybe Sultan can shed some light on that ?

One of our Moslem friend in college wanted to take a trekking trip to the famous Amarnath Caves located in the Himalayas. These are religious caves, kinda like Mecca and Medina is for Moslems, but we took him along. It was amusing to see him lift his hand up and shout "Jai Shiv Shanker" greetings to the passers by. He wanted to bathe in holy waters, but we didn't let him as it was too cold, but he did spend an hour in those freezing caves, in silent contemplation. That was more than either me or my husband could bear to do. If he had been found out....it would have led to Hindu/Moslem riots and murders ! <g>
