Only in my opinion baseball is more elegant, require far more skill, and was popular before TV picked up the game; whereas football is contrived and made popular by TV. The bottom line between match ups, red zones, et al is that my 350 lb felon can put your 280 lb misantrope on his kister and allow my thug carry the ball to the end zone. Football is a PR game that the likes of Terry Bradshaw and Mike Ditka have mastered. Seriously, how intellectally challenging could it be if Terry Bradshaw knows the game inside out. Be serious.
