edig...blaupunkt, audiovox, and frontier? 10:39 AM ET E.Digital Releases First Branded Product E.Digital, which develops digital audio player reference designs, today released its first branded device. Called MXP 100, the player features IBM's Microdrive, which is capable of storing 32 hours of digital music, according to E.Digital. The MXP 100 also includes voice navigation command technology developed by Lucent Technologies, and Musicmatch jukebox software. The MXP 100 retails for $339; players with Microdrive upgrades are available for $379 and $449. Frontier Labs also offers a Microdrive-based player, and Blaupunkt and Audiovox have announced plans to release such devices. E.Digital recently opened an online store, from which it sells the MXP 100 and an MP3 player developed by Maycom, as well as voice recorders and accessories. news.webnoize.com
