what gap? sounds like intel keep plugging them and plugging them and plugging them.... It's all how you spin it... and given the source of the article, those tend to have a lot of "English" on them... I have not heard of any major corporate wins for AMD even with the MP series. (In fact the same or a very similar publication was saying that the K8 was the chip that was going to break the corporate market for AMD last week or so). What Intel appears to be doing is getting their server roadmap so overwhelmingly complete that IT managers won't even have cause to look anywhere else. That tactic has so far kept TMTA out of notebooks, and should continue to keep AMD largely out of corporate workstations...
