Why do you ask about the dutch?

Holland is a modern industry nation with a large steel industry, chemical industry and the world biggest harbour, Rotterdam, measured in how many bruttoregistertons that pass. Together with Denmark, they have the most advanced agriculture, with the highest production per area. There are several big dutch companies, including Unilever (one of the biggest food companies in Europe), Shell (known for oil and gas) and Philips (Chips, Consumer electronics etc.). Holland is probably one of the countries in Europe with the biggest export per inhabita. They had their own plane industry (Fokker) and car industry (DAF), but this industry is now part of other European industry, like Airbus and Volvo. There are 15 million people in Holland, and they prefer to be named "The Netherlands" since Holland is the name of a dutch province.

I hope this answers your question.

Lars.
