Ratan, after reading the Bangor Newspaper story, it looks like the lady in question bought an on-line ticket, which causes more checking than normal, then got huffy with Airline Security, and got booted for it. The Security people, especially if it involves National Guardsman, are going overboard when confronted with hostility, and that is to be expected with the present situation. If you approach the Airport people with a "I have my rights!" attitude, they are going to boot you. Nobody in Airport security is taking any crap from passengers. They don't have to.
