Well I read all your words. I say your assessment of the gulf war is out to lunch. The military conducted a stunning victory. Oh you wish to whine and snivel about the political outcome you did not like. The surrender of the Iraqis occurred because the bombing scared all those in charge away leaving all those left behind with no knife at their throat. So you ask do we blindly trust that the military will use what intelligence they have in the best way possible? I will trust our President who does not lie and has conducted his Presidency in a civil and honorable way to define the mission and put the right folks in the right place to make it happen in the most effective way. Currently Americans share my opinion in by an overwhelming majority. In you ignorance of technology and the process of systems engineering that is a military operation you are free to express whatever you wish. But if you express clueless drivel, I'll let you know. tom watson tosiwmee
