I think that GWB really believes that God called him forth for a purpose in this terrorism thing, and consequetly he is not going to want to see it end. He strikes me as the kind of shallow thinker that wants to see every problem in his administration distilled through the lens of a single problem. Our country is fortunate that we didn't have a President like him when we fought nations like Germany and Japan who had a real chance of beating us.
