$70 million a year from day-trading? Where did you get this figure from??

$500 a day = ~$120 k a year

$5000 a day = ~$1.2m a year

A margin enabled 25k portfolio has a buying power of 100k....

To earn $500 a day totally depends on your appetite for risk. If you trade in lots of 1k - obviously you need 50 cents to reach your daily target.....

500 shares = $1 point...

100 shares = $5 - Which imo is not possible.

There are a lot of factors which need to be taken into consideration before you can even begin to set a daily target for yourself - and the first is analyze your tolerance for risk. Obviously the more capital you put at risk - the higher the potential gains and more importantly possible LOSS.
