Computer problem....De-Frag and Scan Disk... In trying to run these maintenance programs my computer endlessly goes no where and never gets past 2% complete on these tasks. Prior to running them I delete all temp files, and any program that I have not used in the past six weeks. My system is a Compaq Computer running Win 98, with 128 mb of ram, its a Pentium 11, 600mhz. and a 12 gig HD. For a browser I use both Netscape and IE. No applications are running when I try to run these two programs. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks, Jerome
