Small bit of good news. I heard a BBC report on Israel that was actually balanced today, that is to say, a Palestinian spokesman was followed by an Israeli spokesman, and the reporter let both of them speak for several minutes.

I have never heard that before on the BBC. I've heard Palestinians talk for five minutes uninterrupted, followed by a) a US State Department Spokesman, or b) an Israeli government spokesman being very skeptically quizzed by a reporter, or c) nobody. But never equal time for both sides.

Maybe they are taking the criticism to heart.
