As I said, I almost always get scanned with the wand. I've never had it touch me. They run it up and down, just away from you. Maybe the security person was aggressive in an angry manner, and that set her on edge? These are things that aren't in the article, and we are merely speculating.

If any one of us feels an security person is going too far, we sure can say so. Should I be thrown up against a wall, for instance, and let it pass without even a whimper? There is nothing in the article to suggest she was out of hand. And there is no REASON for the wand to touch a person. So why should it, or why she be spoken harshly of by strangers because she objected to it?

And it seems quite clear from the detentions that are happening that part of at least one profile is "middle eastern", so not to worry.

And, yes, I am quite aware of what happened on 9/11. As I will speculate the woman in Maine does.
