Chris, I had promised to answer your question and post it in the original post of the thread... I have to take that back... whatever my answer is, it is only my answer... and I am by no means an authority on anything... mind Islam... truly, I do not know that much... may be I know a bit more than others, but surely far less than many others as ... it just happens to be that I am the one who took it upon himself to create this thread... and my main purpose is to provide reliable sources for people who want to know about Islam... having said this, I think that the message Islam wants everyone in the world to receive and accept without reservation is that there is a God...only One God... and to believe in Him... to fear His punishment and aspire for His rewards... Chris, the Holy Qur'an has many statements with the meaning "don't you think" ... which God is wondering why some people still do not believe in Him... that is why I think that this must be the message... again, this is only my understanding... I make no claim to be an authority on the teachings of Islam... I hope that I've answered your question regards amein
