Personally, I haven't paid attention to the ARMS index. But did you actually read my post? Some folks (Don Hays) don't view it as a failure. Others maintain that in bear and bull markets the figures work differently. We're about to find out. Also, do you know if the Ord Oracle (where that ARMS post stemmed from) was one of those who didn't embrace the signal? From a swing trading point of view, I would point out that the market IS higher now than it was when the ARMS bell rang.

Anyway, some folks have different interpretations based on bear/bull trends, and they still believe in the messages of the ARMS vis a vis their view of how the signal works. Our job is to decide if we agree with that interpretation or not. You view it as trying to have it both ways. Personally, I'd have to check Ord's history before I made that claim.
