Web, criticism without a solution? Here let me take a wild guess at some of your solutions in regards to the thousands of Americans that were slaughtered on their home turf on 9-11.
1) Economic sanctions
2) Foreign aid
3) Do nothing?
It surprises me that you don't see these Muslims terrorist as animals, but then again an animal couldn't be capable of this level of superstition and hatred. Despite of your say nothing, do nothing comments, America is at war with a three-headed monster. What your seeing here is a combination of socialism, religion and fascism and diplomacy will not work without them understanding that they will be annihilated. As for them surviving the “carpeting,” not going to happen, other than you, the average American citizen supports this war on terrorism, they also support the nuclear option.
BTW: On one hand you accuse me of a crusade (Muslim vs. Christians in 11th century Spain) yet you sign off with Christian regards? The way I see it…you’re either with them, or with us – is it possible for you to make up your mind? Or would you rather sit this one out? Possibly grabbing a seat on the old fence, because it certainly makes it easier to criticize if you believe in nothing.
My last point… It seems every time I get into a conversation with an American liberal Vietnam is brought up as a way to show some kind of conversational superiority. Did every American male here on SI fight the Vietnamese? It certainly seems that way…
