Daryll, When I use the term "pressed" I am indicating that I have added to an existing position. That position could be either short or long, and the amount of the increase could be any amount. Typically, I initiate AMAT and LRCX short plays in 1000 share lots and "press" them in 1000 share increments. I believe the term is more a gambling related term, and for myself, probably reflects a younger period in my life where I spent a great deal of time at the tables in Tahoe, Reno and Vegas.
