video game may become the dominant way that the consumer accesses the internet.

I imagine that the usage and growth in usage of the internet far outpace that of video games.

However, for those who do play a lot of video games, they are a major part of their leisure life. Given that, achieving a large market share in that market could certainly propel those users toward a given internet architecture. Lord knows that AOL kicks butt in the youth markets.
