Ah hell, this whole subject has gotten out of control on this thread. I send a button pushing post to jhild and get a goon post from you.

My point all along was they'd never split MSFT up. And now, there is no way they'll do it when the country is being terrorized and is at war.

On more than one occasion I've said...if deals were forced on MSFT customers that were illegal, then nail those who are doing it along with heavy fines against the company. It sure appears there where plenty of willing folks available for sting operations.

The government should just do their job and not be in the business of deciding how an operating system should work or how a company should be split up.

BTW. I feel, from a business perspective, MSFT would be better off split up. And I've said that before. However it isn't the DOJ's job to do that. They are the ones that send in SWAT teams against little kids and burn up women and children in places like Waco.
