Yes, the CI's can linger at 0 and 100 while the market moves to new lows or highs. Put another way, there can be breakouts to the downside or upside when the CI's are at 0 or 100. That's precisely what could happen now. Usually, a reversal is imminent at the extremes, but not always.

Chris has given good reasons why there might be a breakout to the upside here. Then there are the long white candlesticks in the daily charts, the indicators turning off their lows in the weekly charts, and the narrowing bands (indicating a breakout one way or the other) in the daily charts.

So where does it all leave me? In the dark, as always. For a complete update on the future, however, stay tuned. I'm working on it, along with everyone else. It's a group project.
