This is the same NewYorker, the same author that broke the phony story about all the injured Americans.

So the interpretation of mr. hersh of what he was told by his reliable sources is "The intercepts depict a regime increasingly corrupt, alienated from the country's religious rank and file," etc etc.

I say the same opinionated stuff was in the articles you posted about the analysis of the Bioterrorism Treaty. This may be somewhere in a range of true to false. But I guess that the President and his men know the truth and are doing what is best to protect America and Americans.

But I never accept opinions of talking heads relaying what some intercepts real or fabricated mean. And in the case of hersh, I figure the guy is a total boob.
