Hi Scott,

Peter Huber is a provocative thinker, and many of his suggestions have merit. E-Police is merely one transformation of our society we'll have to be making some decisions on. One other that I found intriguing, and is being also discussed by Ray Kurzweil, is the notion to extend pilotless technologies to airliners, so that in the event of a hi-jacking, that the controls are in the hands of ATC on the ground, and not the pilots or the hi-jackers. To me, this is a viable technological solution that can prevent any future recurrences of the WTC and Pentagon attacks. Worth considering. And devastating for the pilot's unions to consider, since it's only another half a step to truly automated flying.
