I can't believe that any of the analysts that projected these same EPS changes a few weeks ago are going to change their opinions based on the presentation of facts. All the people that revised their 2002 EPS estimates reiterated their recommendations over the past few days. The issues like carrier interest and changes in accounting rules are non issues after tomorrow. The cleanup of CDMAONE products is in the final stages in December as suppliers wipe out their invesntories to make way for the CDMA2000 standard in the March quarter. Then we will be able to witness the sale of $400 wireless modem cards, $300 CDMA2000 phones, etc... ASP's will pick up as these new products are rolled out in Q1 and Q2. Bottom line, they ain't going to hold back QCOM and the road to 3G for long based on Pegaso missing a payment.
