Yes, I have been to Phoenix area in hopes of "doing" the above list.
The problem was it was a few years ago near July 4th weekend. the day we were there, temp. set a new high record of 124 degrees F. Only left motel room during the daylight to buy ice,cokes, & beer. When charged for it by 7-11 clerk, I questioned her about the lack of sales tax.

Was informed Az. prohibits taxing of a "necessity of life".
