A search for absolute cuddliness would do well to focus on some other species, so it's a good thing that we here are not so engaged, eh - dilbert.com

More than canadians fight beside the brits - anzacs, south africans, gurkhas ... more than a few of your countrymen found their way north and joined up in the two major wars last century as well ... a neighbour here used to talk of flying a Hurricane beside one in 1940 ... which was illegal by US law, but the Roosevelt administration never enforced it, and after the US had drained Britain of gold and credit and was forced by Pearl Harbour to do more than sit back getting rich off the struggle, the US nationals in the RCAF were signed into the US version ... and sadly, the reverse has happened, there were canadians who enlisted in US military for the war against the peasants of Indochina ... none to my knowledge in Reagan's war on the campesinos of Nicaragua however

To a latino, you know, there is no great difference - one anglo looks and sounds and acts much like another, be he from Maine or Otago or Alberta or Northumbria ... well perhaps the latter we could tell by sound -g- ... but it is all one great anglo empire, common language, common roots ... i realise what they teach you in school, how all history began in the 1770s thirteen colonies, but it's not really true you know ... the history of human progress has been going on a long time, and in other places ... in fact 'your' Thomas Paine was fresh off the boat from the auld countree, and the scot Adam Smith of Kirkcaldy never saw reason to make the passage yet his 1776-published opus was as significant to the species .... not that Vasconcelos would be overly impressed in either case, lol

Ok, you got me off the subject ... now back - What do you think of the US attack on my province? .. 'my country right or wrong', 'teacher leave them kids alone', 'kill a kanuck for Krist', 'hug a gook for Jane', or 'make lumber not war'?
