China to Set up New Telecom Corporation at Year-End Wednesday November 7, 11:37 AM BEIJING, Nov 7 Asia Pulse - A new telecommunications giant, China Telecommunications Satellite Group Corporation, will be set up at the end of this year. The top leaders of the new telecom giant have been appointed and Zhou Zehe has assumed the post of general manager, sources from the Ministry of Information Industry said. The corporation will consist of a number of satellite-based telecom companies, such as China Telecommunications Broadcast Satellite Corporation and ChinaSat of China Telecom (Hong Kong).
