It is quite pukka sahib to call it the 'loonie', we do so ourselves, 'peso norteño' being deemed to have too many syllables, and of course the modern corruption of 'Taler' carrying that nasty yanqui connotation ... so, no problema ... 'loonie' derives from the not-duck aquatic bird on the back of the 1.00Cdn coin, which could once upon a time get you a beer in a public house, but not any more ... which is not to say it is 'down' per se any more than anybody else's fiat money construct, just that 'beer went up' ... beer is going to go up against the yanqui dollah as well pretty soon, and everything else, just watch 'em print that stuff, hoo-hah, and another half-point fed rate drop today, well get ready for wheelbarrows full of the stuff on the way to the pub ... coming time for gold it is, imho, bubble in the greenback gonna go poof

Which is the real reason those manipulating lobbyist scum can't sell that scabby yaller pine without beating on us - that bubble ... the US dollar has been pumped up to well beyond a loonie and a half ... insanity, you'd think they'd figure it out, and stop

Not moderated no, i've never started one of those ... couldn't see the point ... well you can knock my Queen mister but i've been to San Francisco and seen some of yours, and lemme tell you, you prolly shouldn't bring up the subject -g-
