An Interesting Note Concerning Repo's In An Article Which AG Published Prior To His Becoming Chairman of the Fed He Pointed Out That A Limitation In The Use Of Increased Liquidity As A Tool For Economic Stimulus

is that the percentage of the increased liquidity which ends up in equity prices significantly increases the faster that the rate of liquidity is increased.

This fact alone becomes a major impediment to the real capital formation which is necessary to improve the economy.
