Make Kofi Annan Acting President. Then, ask Bill Clinton if he wants to be UN-appointed Interim President pending elections for self-governing Provincial Prime Ministers and constitution preparation. I bet Bill would love to do something like that. I think [despite foaming-at-the-mouth Republican antipathy] he'd do a pretty good job and be widely accepted in the job. He'd love being in the limelight again. Gorby might be a good deputy. The women of Afghanistan would be in favour of Bill. No more of those burquas. The thong would soon be in favour [albeit discreetly concealed]. Mqurice PS: Then again, I can't imagine Bill wanting to spend very long in Kabul. Okay, I'll come up with plan B another time.
