Changes In Stock Market Prices Will Only Be Indicative Of Changes In The Economy When The Growth In The Money Supply Is Consistent With The Growth Of Real Goods and Services.

Its easy to fix the stock market, not so easy to fix the economy.

I think the hardest thing for me to remember is that the current prices of a share of stock is only the price at whcih the last share of that stock traded. It has nothing to do with the real value of the equity. Actually, it even has very little to do with what that same share may trade at the next day.

What we are seeing is a lot of froth. The froth makes it look like there is more beer in the glass than there really is. The problem is when you drink try to drink it, it just makes you belch. Much better to stick with single malts. <gg>
