The Visa verification is 'neccessary' in that most online merchants are familiar with, and have trust in the Visa name. Therefor, the security offered by the Visa name is a selling point. I understand INSP's security to be everything a merchant would need, but is not as well known.

I am sure it is still INSP technology at work and that Visa put the technology through its own testing model and 'approved' it for use, garnering the "Visa Compliant' distinction.

The "Robust Revenue Streams" I feel, is again the INSP PR machine using the highest level of verbiage they can. Sure it should amount to some direct revenue, in that there are those merchants who will switch to Authorize.net once they see the Visa name alongside it, but one of my biggest problems with INSP is the maximum exposure they get out of all the press releases even if it lends itself to confusion and misrepresentation. As long as it does not come across as deliberate, they are happy as long as the point becomes confused in their favor.

Sure they may not be alone in this regard, but I still don't like the practice much.

You are right about tax loss. Most mutual funds have already gone through it.

Individual investors may not have so many capital gains this year to need a write off. There will be a small percentage that own this stock and do not look at it all that much, those are the ones that will look at the declining revenues, 2002 projections of 100 to 105 million and conclude they can sell this stock.

Oblivious to the overall business plan and growing metrics.

The above comments are all my opinion.
