Re Linux servers as IT's lowest spending priority... That's exactly the beauty of Linux! When you upgrade it, you don't have to spend any money. So of course Linux servers are low on the list of priorities. Its architects are not deliberately trying to come up with new creative ways of parting you and your money. Dave
