My concern on the liquidity front has more to do with the hang over the economy suffer after economy turns and the Fed turns off the pumps. Essentially Greenspan is trying to get the economy going earlier than it would if left to its own devises by re-inflating the economy and more specifically the stocks market. History has shown that does not work for an extended period of time. Regan-nomics was something similar and after the artifical bubble the US economy when into a very long protracted slide.
