You're assuming that they have an equal amount of shares outstanding.

According to Yahoo GX shares outstanding 887,300,000.
AX shares outstanding 581,900,000.

If GX owns 60% (I don't know the exact figure but this is close) of AX then GX owns 349,140,000 shares of AX. So every share of GX gives you 349.140/887.3 = .39 shares of AX or .55. So GX is worth .33 on its own.
