Richard, I don't get it. What did I say about the NC that seems wrong or out of date?

The consensus on the thread has always been that Oracle's first NC OSs were hacked Unix or Acorn-produced, and that the 2nd generation based on VxWorks would not bear fruit before 1998. I don't see anything about SunSoft problems that is inconsistent with what you and I agreed to about Java's lack of mainstream readiness. What am I missing?
