I thought I said "significant write-offs". If I didn't, I meant it. A few million here and there don't bother me. Get into the tens of millions, and I'll start getting knotted up.

I think the write off this quarter was $5m. Finally getting down. Now, if we have to write off Vesper, Pegaso, etc., I'm going to pitch a fit.

Yesterday made me again think about the wisdom of Spinco. I'd just as soon have QClassic as a core LTB&H holding and sell or trade my Spinco shares. Perhaps QClassic could be some sort of trust similar to a REIT, paying off huge dividends throughout the years. Provided, of course, that the younger Jacobs bunch doesn't think of it as a funding source for their hobbies.
