Yes, yes, I know. But you were specifically asking why nForce was superior to KT266A. You did not need to be defensive about the totally logical and accurate answer that was given to you.

I mean, if somebody asked you "Why is a Visor Prism more expensive than a Visor Deluxe?", and you answered "Because it has colour.", wouldn't you look at the person strangely if she shot back with a "But the Palm IIIc has had colour for months!"? I mean, the response to the answer has absolutely nothing to do with the question. Yeah, Palm and Visor are competitors, but the question was specifically about the difference between two Visors. Bringing up Palm makes it sound like she's trying to defend that company when it's not being attacked in the first place!

This is just in the general vein of when people are comparing something interesting (say, processor performance), but then somebody waylays the argument with an irrelevant point (eg, "cpu company X has bad marketing").
