Marci is still very young, and will most likely grow and learn from these experiences, so be patient and give her some breathing room..... Also, it is no cakewalk appearing live on TV several times every business day, with the audience expecting near perfection every time.... She will be alright. Take for example Kristina Abernathy from the Weather Channel. When she first started about five years ago, you could hardly hear her trembling voice, and one time she got stuck on her words and could not go on, so her partner had to take over! But in about a year, her voice was much stronger and her self-confidence had improved tremendously.... When I was in contact with her boss over weather instrument choices, I could not resist telling him that in my opinion, she was the most improved weather person they had! So give Marci some time before you throw the baby out with the bathwater.
