Excellent post, Truthseeker. I've seen that "Red Herring" article on toxic financing before and have now copied it for my own files. The very same thing happened recently with IFCI; it's stock price rapidly declined from about three or four dollars to today's level of 73 cents. A few years ago another firm, Altair (formerly ALTIF, now ALTI), took on a "floorless" convertible. Result: from $32 a share to less than $1.50 today (ALTI has a lot of other problems in addition to their financing).

I would sell (and have sold) ANY company that borrows money this way. Furthermore, if I had the guts or ability I'd even short it as the safest bet on the planet.
