It's most likely that you would not have noticed terrorism in a Gore administration. His early priority was airport security. We certainly wouldn't have battled terrorists and the Bush depression at the same time. Scalia did not realize how much damage he was doing by appointing Bush, not just to the Constitution, but to the whole future of American life, once it was so bright.
